US Defense Finance Office Client: End-to-End Financial Management and Financial System O&M

Client’s Challenge: Our Defense customer needed to transform its Cash Accountability functionality to a daily reporting status with Treasury to reduce costs and improve effectiveness. The customer managed 50 unique data feeds processing approximately 4.5 million monthly transactions totaling nearly $60 billion and required support with its data architecture, analyzing sets of data to ensure capability into the single feed to Treasury, and defining common terms of data to ensure consistency.

State and Local Government: Workiva Implementation

Our state government client required a user-friendly and effective audit management and electronic software system to replace the current outdated software and manual, paper-driven process for audit planning, audit assignment and scheduling, audit execution, audit working papers, time and budget management, audit reporting, audit database management, taxpayer communications, audit review, and all other administrative and performance related reporting needs.

Federal Civilian Grant Making Agency: Grant Strategy and Governance and Award Management Services

Client’s Problem: Our federal civilian client is one of the leading federal agencies to provide grant funding for research and development and education. It faced a backlog of Single Audit Act and OIG audits in need of resolution and faced staff limitations responsible for an annual budget of $10 billion. The organization required additional support to maintain compliance with laws and regulations and to maintain an unmodified financial statement audit opinion. The client had not been able to update its policies and procedures for audit follow-up in over a decade, and needed additional support conducting on-site monitoring of recipients to augment its limited staff.
